01 / Case study

Campaigns built to move—and built to ship.

02 / Production remit

Creative ownership, all the way to delivery.

At Skipton Building Society I designed the campaign graphics, developed the HTML5 advertising and animated the finished work. I also acted as the subject-matter expert for the marketing team, helping briefs survive the journey from a visual idea to a valid, platform-ready package.

That meant balancing clarity, brand consistency and movement against strict file-size limits. Every image, transition and line of production code had to earn its weight.

03 / End-to-end craft

Not a handoff. A complete production practice.

The work moves continuously from concept and asset creation into animation, code, optimisation, testing and publisher delivery.

01

Design

Campaign concepts, layouts, typography, image preparation and brand-compliant artwork across a shifting landscape of placements.

02

Develop

Production HTML5, CreateJS output, click-through behaviour and publisher-ready packages—not simply static design handoff.

03

Animate

Timing, transitions and narrative beats built to communicate quickly within short loops and tightly controlled file weights.

04

Enable

Subject-matter expertise for the marketing team, translating media specifications into reliable creative delivery.

04 / Live HTML5

The actual banners—not flattened mock-ups.

These are working HTML5 executions from the supplied production archive. Each runs inside its original canvas dimensions and preserves the animation logic used for delivery.

05 / Campaign scale

One message, eighteen delivery shapes.

The First Time Buyer campaign alone was adapted across an unusually broad media plan. The challenge was not resizing; it was preserving hierarchy, pacing and recognition when the canvas changed completely.

Wide-format executions used the page itself as part of the composition, maintaining a coherent campaign frame across large, medium and small placements.

06 / Motion work

Short-form energy and longer-form storytelling.

The motion archive spans ten-second advertising pieces and longer branded films. Select any thumbnail to load that piece in the player.

07 / Collaborative film production

Graphics and motion woven into real stories.

For the ASDA films I designed and created the complete graphics package, then animated it in After Effects. I worked alongside the colleague filming the content and the editor, using Premiere Pro to bring footage, interviews, information and motion into one coherent finished piece.

  • Graphic identity and on-screen information
  • After Effects motion graphics
  • Collaborative edit and sequencing in Premiere Pro
  • Long-form branded and internal communications

09 / Value

Creative ambition, tempered by production reality.

This work demonstrates a hybrid practice: visual design strong enough to command attention, animation paced for the channel and technical fluency deep enough to deliver the finished asset. All featured work was conceived and produced before generative AI became part of mainstream creative workflows.
